Essential Ingredients For Good Health

According to WHO “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”
Good nutrition an adequate well balanced diet combined with regular physical activity is a corner stone of good health.
Nothing comes free in this world. One has to pay the price for everything. Good Health comes with lot of discipline.
Healthy people are the richest people in the world. They can enjoy each and every moment of life. They can appreciate the humming of birds, playful sounds of small children and for every matter everything. Their adaptability increases with good health. Good Health bring calm and poise in their personality. Good health  comes with a package of winning traits in the battle of life.
Today’s youth is not health conscious. They are spoiled brats that live on  junk food. Fast Food are on rise and so are our waistlines and a hole in the bank account.
Fast Food has more calories on average than healthy foods do. . Healthy Foods are nutrient rich with vitamins and minerals  that benefit the body. Fast Food due to ingredients and preparation techniques tends to be nutrient poor even though they are high in calories.
Fast Food contributes to a diet high in sodium because the of the added salt. A diet high in sodium can lead to heart disease and high blood pressure and can cause you to retain water and feel bloated and uncomfortable after eating.
Junk food is high in saturated and trans fat which can clog the arteries and  may cause life threatening medical problem.
Daily meals should include a healthy combination of fibre, protein, vitamins and minerals. Fast Food contain no fruits and vegetables and hence deprive our body of essential nutrients.
We as mothers are to blame for our children bad health status  as we don’t offer them something  equally tempting and nutritious. Give them a lucrative offer which they are unable to resist.  Why not wheat burgers instead of maida burgers. Why not sabootdana cutlets or healthy snacks, kebabs and briyanis’ with hygienically prepared chutnies.  Motto is say
no to junk or atleast minimized it.

Why do we prefer junk to healthy food. Its time to think before gulping down anything below the throat. Why not be you, me or I and all of us be the vehicle of change.

Fast Food look good, taste good and cost little but the health expenses can be great. Nutritious food combine with daily physical activity can change your health graph. It is just a matter of priority how much importance does you give to good health. True happiness cannot be bought, it comes with only one ingredient “Good Health”
Healthy Food is good for your health and your wallet.
